The ruling emphasizes the responsibility of employers to ensure a healthy and safe working environment, regardless of where the work is performed, and that employees are covered by the employer's occupational insurance if the work is performed at a location accepted or designated by the employer.

Dismissal due to impending fertility treatment was in violation of the Equal Treatment Act
Today, April 15, 2025, the Supreme Court in Denmark ruled in a landmark case on equal treatment and dismissal in connection with fertility treatment. The decision clarifies that employees are also protected under the Equal Treatment Act, even if fertility treatment has not yet begun at the time of dismissal.
